Use of this website

This website is provided by the Foundation for Small Business Development ("FFSBD", "we", "us") to share information about our grant programs and to accept grant applications. You may use this site for lawful purposes connected to those aims.

No fee to apply

Applying for an FFSBD grant is always free. We will never require payment at any stage to apply, to be considered, to be approved, or to receive funds. Any message claiming otherwise did not come from FFSBD.

Accuracy of information

By submitting an application, you confirm that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are an owner, founder, or authorized representative of the business named in the application. Providing false or misleading information may disqualify an application.

Grants are not loans

Approved grants do not require repayment. Approved grants come with a simple reporting agreement so FFSBD can track how funds were used; failure to comply with that agreement may affect eligibility for future support.

No guarantee of funding

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. FFSBD reviews applications against its eligibility criteria and program priorities, and funding decisions are at FFSBD's sole discretion.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and branding of this website belong to FFSBD unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Limitation of liability

This website and its content are provided "as is." FFSBD is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
